I am cooperating as an employee and researcher with two ongoing population studies under the supervision of the Bushehr University of Medical Sciences and the Metabolic and Endocrine Institute of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. One is the Bushehr Elderly Health (BEH) cohort program, which included 3000 individuals over 60 years old to study cardiovascular health in aged people. The other one is the PoCOsteo cohort study, which recruited 2000 people aged 50 and over to assess bone health and osteoporosis risk factors. The core of our research team consisted of diverse expertise, including nutritionists, epidemiologists, and geriatric experts. Overall, my collaboration with the Fasa cohort study during my master's studies, the BEH program, and the PoCOsteo cohort study allowed me to work with different questionnaires, analyse them, and interpret big data. My main responsibilities are 1) to draft research proposals for new topics on the available data, 2) to come up with research methodology and research strategies for new topics, 3) to analyze and interpret them with the assistance of our epidemiologists, and 4) to write manuscripts.
