  Currently the night veterinary technician at Retama Equine Hospital. I assist with all nighttime emergencies, and provide care and administer fluids/medications to in-hospital patients. I am trained in sterile preparation and technician duties for emergency colic surgery and post operative monitoring. During breeding season I attend the foalings of 12-15 mares and perform post partum care of mom and baby. Other duties include feeding patients according to their particular needs, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining cleanliness in lab, hospital, and barn areas. Show less
