Business Development & Marketing Manager
-
Mar 2019 - Jan 2022
I managed business planning processes and operational relationships with ten global partner companies in order to launch new products and open new markets. This encompasses negotiating and contracting with new partners, as well as supervising all aspects of the activity of marketing and product managers and three regulatory offices in geographically disparate areas. Achievements in the role to date have included directing marketing and brand management processes for more than 30 products from five companies, as well as overseeing negotiations with three international companies to act as their agent in Iraq. I developed a full range of health FMCG products and oversaw their launch as a private label company, and was able to resolve issues with a partner company in order to support product relaunch through the design of a new business model. The role also gave me the opportunity to register six pharmaceutical companies in Iraq and two companies in Sudan. A notable feature of the role has been to work remotely with colleagues across different global time zones, although I am pleased that being part of a geographically disparate team has not compromised my ability to discharge my responsibilities.
