  As Vice President for the UC Santa Barbara Chapter of Panel to the People, I help the President with any duties delegated to me; take over whenever the President is preoccupied; recruit new ambassadors; filter and assist the management of meetings, events, and deadlines; and help prepare ambassadors for initiation into the chapter.

  As Secretary for UCSB at Panel to the People, I fill out University webinar checks, make meeting minutes for each meeting, record attendance at each meeting, send out Zoom links for virtual meetings, reserve rooms for in-person meetings, and continue with my duties as an ambassador (social media posts and emailing).

  As an Ambassador for the University of California, Santa Barbara, I work with outreach by publicizing each Panel (every three weeks) through connections and various forms of social media. I contact potential panelists (stemming from all different professions) and discuss global issues during the Panels as well. “Panel to the People intends to build a platform that allows for the discussion of ideas and topics of public importance, with an emphasis on civic literacy and knowledge of the world around us.   As the Student Chapter Representative for UCSB, I oversee all communication for UCSB with the other aspects of the greater Western section of this international organization (The Wildlife Society). I vote as a representative for UCSB and attend all Wildlife Society meetings. As President-Elect (aka Vice President), I fill-in for the President and take over whenever the President is not able to complete his/her tasks. “The Wildlife Society is an international organization, and we are a student chapter connecting students to wildlife-related opportunities and promoting nature education on campus.
