Bio
I've worked with Dave in a few capacities: he was Reboot's first Managing Director, we've since collaborated on various projects, and I've engaged him has an advisor for our team. I truly love working with Dave. He's a fantastic strategist and savvy on the political dynamics of each situation, and he'll sharpen anything you're thinking about or working on. He's very well and widely read, and he draws from diverse disciplines in his work to help professional social change organizations do better. He's also a strong writer and facilitator, capable of blending big-picture ambition and the mechanics of how tricky conversations unfold. Dave's a straight-shooter, and it's incredibly refreshing. I've seen him call out (in a kind way) teams when they deviate from their stated values, in ways that make them want to do better. I've certainly learned from how he practices radical candor. I highly recommend Dave as a collaborator.
Dave has played an important role in supporting the evolution of Global Integrity - and of me! - over the course of the past five years. He helped us with crafting the organization's first strategy in 2015, our learning plan in 2016 and our strategy refresh in 2019-20. Dave is a pleasure to work with and the creativity, skills and experience he brings to the table have made a big difference to the clarity of our strategy, the coherence of our team and our organizational effectiveness.
