Environmental guide for hikes on the Polvese Island

I take groups of tourists and students to guided on the beautiful and protected site of Polvese Island, where I show them the most gorgeous corners, and teach them something about the high nature and ecological value of that site. I mostly work with schoolchildren (aged 4 to 11 years), but I also taught high-school and university students on several occasions. I also lead guided tours in English for foreign groups. Assistance in the two projects "German Barcode of Life (GBOL)" and "Barcoding Fauna Bavarica (BFB)". Main tasks:- Sorting of individuals (mostly arthropodes);- In particular: sorting of microlepidoptera (moths) until family/genus level;- Taking of tissue samples;- Data insertion;- DNA extraction, PCRs of the CO1 gene for barcoding, editing of the DNA sequences, other laboratory procedures.
