Head Robotics Coach
-
Jun 2016 - Present
I've been coaching Northridge Prep's Robotics program since its founding in 2016, and am blessed to be able to give back to my alma mater in this fashion. We currently field a FIRST Tech Challenge team for grades 7-12, and a FIRST Lego League team for grades 6-8. Our FTC team has been growing steadily, making it to the State Championships in the 2017-18 season. Sep 2017 - Present
I am a graduate student working towards my PhD in Mechanical Engineering. I currently work in the Neuroscience and Robotics lab (NxR) under the direction of Professor Kevin Lynch. I am working on developing inexpensive fingertip force sensors for robotic manipulation tasks. The goal is to allow robotic end effectors to gain the same dexterity as a human hand.

Research Assistant
-
Jun 2015 - Oct 2017
I worked at the Neuroscience and Robotics Lab (NxR) under the direction of Prof. Michael Peshkin, working on many projects in Robotics. I gained much experience in coding, microcontrollers, mechanical design, and electronics design. During my time there we developed proprioceptive sensors for compliant and soft robotic elements.
