Some of my responsibilities were as follows: • Responsible for the accountability of over $265,000.00 worth of ALSS Equipment.• Manage a team of 4 ALSE technicians.• Train junior ALSE Technicians in the proper inspection and fitting procedures of the IHADSShelmet, HGU-56/P helmet, Air Warrior System Vest, BAOS System, and LPU-40 flotationcollars. My additional duty as a Non-Commissioned Officer was filling the role of a Logistics Manager for my organization. Some of my tasks were: • Plan, organize, and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the equipment movement is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.• Collaborate with other managers or staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.• Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, or tracking of vehicles and shipping containers.• Prepare the organization for the deployment and redeployment of almost 100 units of containers and vehicles in support of "Atlantic Resolve" 2019 - 2020. We were able to account for 100% of the equipment after we completed our tour of duty. Thankfully, we did not endure any accidents or near-misses. Show less
