  Worked for 6 months as a Maintenance Plumber for a British Gas company that are purely DOMESTIC based. There were many responsibilities having this role such as; driving my own company van every day, call outs from 6pm-6am once a week, ordering van stock every week, meeting and greeting customers everyday (even complaint customers) and being perfectly organised in how I do anything. The work was usually repairs or installations on anything maintenance, for example; installing taps, toilets, basins, baths, radiators etc, also re-running waste and copper pipework and I have many more examples. I would have to work at height or in confined spaces a lot of the time and also be very friendly to customers and deal with their problems in an effective and efficient way. Show less
