Alf was a great mentor during my first construction project. When I started work, he made me feel more comfortable and confident in my role by showing me around, explaining all the rules and introducing me to people our team was cooperating with. Alf always shares his broad knowledge with everyone and is more than keen to help with any enquiries and tasks. He is well organised, keeps up to speed with modern technologies and is very interested in new programs and features. Alf regularly goes over and above what is required and delivers his work with that little bit extra effort to make it easier for people who are taking over. Work included lime stabilising subgrade under widening sections; triple blend cement stabilising existing pavement; unbound pavement incorporating corrector layers and mechanically mixing into existing pavement.
