Within this role, I am trained to accept and dispense prescriptions, ensuring all legal requirements are fullfilled and SOPs are being followed. A major aspect of my role involves making sure we all understand the safer care policy putting it at the heart of what we do. I oversee the training and development of pharmacists and pharmacy colleagues to ensure we provide the best services including providing training on vitality health, private health check, Bp monitoring and stop smoking. I help analyse profit and loss statements each month and assist in adjusting our targets to hit our budgets. I brief the team weekly on our targets, encouraging, motivating and promoting I have contributed to leading the team to a 59% increase in MURs, 57% increase in NMS, 34% increase in items year to date, together with exceeding out OTC sales budget each month. We have also exceeded our FLU vaccination target by 88%. This has allowed us to grow our buisness towards turning over a monthly profit.
