To Whom It May Concern: Mr. Rios has done extensive administrative work at William Paterson University’s Pre-College Summer Youth Programs, culminating with demanding weeks during the summer months where he directed the college student assistant staff. While the summer program was scheduled for seven weeks during the months of July and August, the duties were year-round: coordinating staff, booking classrooms, preparing the weekly schedule, doing promotional work, working intensively with departments and colleges at WP and myself—the work continued after hours and Mr. Rios was always available around the clock during the summer months to ensure all programmatic logistics were addressed. Mr. Rios has excellent organizational skills with the ability to analyze and communicate effectively in the areas of staff recruitment, selection, and retention for the summer program. In addition, Mr. Rios helped create a positive, safe and supportive environment for all staff, participants, and parents.
