Managing General Assistance recipients on a monthly basis while offering employment guidance; referring out to other local resources; and coordinating community work programs. Also collaborate with neighboring townships and programs to best assist our residents. Provide community outreach services while networking with other governmental agencies and non-profits to best assist clients' needs. Implemented Community Work Program for its General Assistance recipients; brought in new disbursement programs; created career and employment library for residents; while revamping all compliance documentation for assistance programs. Currently serve as Board Secretary of the Township Officials of Cook County Caseworkers Division; Salvation Army Service Extension Volunteer; Benefits Outreach team member; Deputy Registrar; Senior Health Insurance Counselor (SHIP); and have received my certification from TOI General Assistance Training Institute in 2018.
