PediaBright is a pediatric health care start-up, of which I am a founding member. Our mission is to improve health literacy in children facing complex health issues. As Chief Creative Officer, I have: - Authored a trilogy of children's books on Chronic Kidney Disease; - Communicated with illustrators, physicians, and coworkers to craft a cohesive artistic vision; - Reviewed complex research, and destructed it for a young audience; - Written grant proposals, and secured funding, to cover publishing and illustrating costs; - Developed a strong understanding of the publishing process and industry.
