  I manage the marketing, sponsorship, fundraising and logistics for the Oxford Festival of the Arts, a multi-disciplinary celebration of the arts that has become an Oxford cultural landmark. I work with local businesses to build bespoke sponsorship packages utilising the assets of the festival and ensuring the sponsorship makes a relevant and powerful addition to their marketing objectives. I apply for funding from trusts and grant-giving organisations and philanthropists. I am responsible for all comms and marketing the festival which is a not-for-profit company so I have to box clever with a very modest marketing budget! I believe it's all about relationships and I like to build partnerships with local media owners as well as pursuing PR and press coverage. I compile the festival brochure from copy to images and have been known to turn my hand to a bit of design work and photography too. I'm also responsible for all digital and social media marketing. Oxford Festival of the Arts was founded in 2009 by Magdalen College School and the school remains our lead sponsor and greatest supporter. Show less

  I founded and ran Dancing Trousers Cookery School after having retrained and taken my Cordon Bleu Diploma. I achieved the British Cookery Schools award for People's Choice and was delighted that my customer reviews resulted in consistent Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence badges year on year. I ran the school solo and was responsible for the branding, marketing, research and development, admin and teaching of the majority of courses. I brought in specialist guest tutors and was able to offer a range of 14 different courses ranging from patisserie to knife skills, Middle Eastern to bread making. Show less
