  Achievements:- Organized a small machine shop and self-trained to utilize unfrequently used equipment for the company’s benefit such as mill, lathe and CMM.- Eliminated costs and processing time, and reduced turnaround time from ~3 weeks down to 1 day for acquiring metal components by making them in-house, which helped reduce lead-time to provide parts and answers to customer (reduce overall development time)- Reduced hours of work down to minutes for inspecting dimensions by creating auto programs with CMM.- Ensured 100% mold fitting of metal components by working with rubber injection mold supplier.Responsibilities: - Lead the design and develop dynamic dampers and mounts, including differential and torque rod engine mounts- Work under pressure with other engineers to effectively define the new design requirements by performing multiple lab tests, and identifying and tracking all the different variables that impact the performance of the part- Work with injection plastic and metal suppliers (such as stamping, aluminum extrusion and GDC) for designing components used on the final good.- Responsible for DV (Design Verification) and PV (Production Validation) testing. - Design and machine fixtures for testing, assembling, and inspecting prototype and MP parts as well as machine prototype components for mounts and suspension bushings.

  Achievements:- Developed a process for controlling and improving the adhesive application to rubber for resin products.- Improved production efficiency by providing constant support to factory at MP start-up.- Obtained joint patent with HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD (US Patent # 11001306 Isolation Mount Assembly). - Achieved weight reduction, improved dynamic characteristics and exceeded durability specifications over 200% on new mounts.- Worked with factory to find root cause of rejected MP parts, proposed countermeasures to reduce rejects worth more than $20,000 monthly and improved quality processes.Responsibilities:- Designed and developed conventional mounts for the automotive industry, specialized in transmission and sub-frame mounts.
