The hospital continues to provide the most progressive treatments and diagnostics including ultrasound, orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, chemotherapy, regenerative stem cell and PRP treatments, acupuncture and chiropractic’s. Interns must be assertive about what they know and would like to learn. Asking questions and actively participating in rounds and clinics is expected. We see 150-175 cases a day and average 12-15 anesthetic procedures a day so you will get to experience a lot. Worked three shifts a day. Participated in emergencies at night and on the weekends. Doctors were happy to include me in both their office calls and surgeries. I had significant opportunity to not only watch but perform surgery. Hands on experience was abundant.
