  Placement with the Nuffield Foundation working under Prof. S. David Jackson in the Chemistry Department. Under the guidance of one of the postgraduate researchers produced a report for the foundation titled “Dehydrogenation of 1-penten-3-ol over silver and copper catalysts”. Report was given a Nuffield Award from the foundation and also received a Gold CREST Award from the British Science Association. Placement with the Nuffield Foundation working under Prof. S.
