What I did there:* Developing a REST API in JAVA 8 using per layer:- restful api layer: Javax WS RS API for handling http request and Jackson API for serializing and de-serializing data- middle layer where most of the business logic resides: Weld library for dependency injection, using Jooq library for database mapping and for its transaction capabilities - database layer where specific database records and record repositories reside: Jooq for generating database records, Apache common's DBCP component for database connection pooling- for testing we used: junit along with mockito and powermock libraries for mocking and stubbing - for deploying and project dependency management we used gradle with ant scripts.- server: apache tomcat 9.x.x* Developing front-end with angular 7+ using the angular and material components following the material design guidelines. Unit testing was done using karma test runner and test were written using jasmine and mocha libraries. * Designing the database tables structures along the database administrator.Database servers used where Mysql 5.7 (due to backward compatibility) and Oracle DB.* Setting up and maintaining the integration testing environments for my colleagues on Windows Server 2016 and Centos 7 machines. * For scrum Jira was used. For code-review and pull-request we used Bitbucket.* In this time I passed my Oracle Java SE 11 Programmer I certification test and want to take the second part in the months to come.Product link: https://www.evidian.com/products/idaas-identity-and-access-management-as-a-service/ Show less

Here I discovered a great group of programmers, enthusiastic, forthgoing and eager to improve (I guess some of that rubbed off on me). Thanks to them I had a great couple of years. My first project was travelio.ro which is an ERP platform (build somewhat like a SaaS) for travel agencies offering booking and billing capabilities. It also offered a XML based webservice for third party websites. Development and bug-fixing mostly. I had the pleasure of working on flight ticking websites build on Koahana (codeigniters son) that integrated search webservices provided by the WorldSpan API. Among these sites were: travelport.ro, zborusor.ro, e-avion.ro, onetrip.ro Coded on the team that created anuntio.ro. A website that brings together prices from other websites using MongoDB, PhantomJs and Angular with Nodejs as a webserver (awesome stuff I tell you) Had my first run at Zend 2 on citysmart.ro but always felt that Symfony 2 would have been the better choice. Slowly but surly we got the projects from SVN to GIT and hosted them on bitbucket.org. Deployment is mostly automated and done with deplohq.com. I was a team manager/developer for a small team of 3 on a CMS for travel agencies using the awesome tools provided by the Symfony2 community and the ongoing upgrade of their components. Languages used: PHP, Javascript, SQL PHP frameworks: Zend 2, Symfony 2, Kohana, Internal MVC framework JS frameworks and libs: Angular 2, jQuery, Prototype Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Servers: Apache, Nodejs Other technologies: Phantoms JS (headless browser) Versioning: GIT, SVN Show less

Jumping from codeigniter to symfony1 was a huge step here. Learned about ORM, Design Patterns (had to read some Java books to get more acquainted). Learned how to debug more efficiently and how to use SVN (from the command line). During this time I worked on the bug-fixing/development/maintenance team for: controlinternet.ro : The fron-tend was developed in Symfony1 I had to build from scratch the backend where users were to login and save their data; calificativ.ro : this was build on an inhouse MVC framework; califcative.ro : build on the same in house MVC framework; Developing at this website I learned how to write web crawlers and write Protoytpe and JQuery plugins . Also using Sphinx Search Engine for search optimization. was a big plus. Working with MMCache was a treat as well. Languages used: PHP Javascript: SQL, PL/pgSQL Databases: MySql, Postgres PHP frameworks: In house MVC framework JS Libraries: Prototype, jQuery Other technologies: Sphinx Search Engine, Memcache Versioning: SVN Show less
