PROTOTYPE FOR THE FERROCEMENT CANOPY of SNFCC

  I was the on site Structural Designer (shop drawings design included) of the construction of the Ferrocement Prototype that was build, to represent the Solar Collector Canopy of the ongoing Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. During that year, besides the construction of the (6x15 meters) Prototype, we conducted a lot of ferrocement tests at the N.T.U.A. in order to better understand the behavior of the ferrocement as structural element. I was the on site Structural Designer (shop drawings design included) of the construction of the Ferrocement Prototype that was build, to represent the Solar Collector Canopy of the ongoing Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. During that year, besides the construction of the (6x15 meters) Prototype, we conducted a lot of ferrocement tests at the N.T.U.A. in order to better understand the behavior of the ferrocement as structural element.
