  As the product team grew, I became a Product Owner, and worked directly under the co-founder and CEO. I kept working on our collaborative tools, releasing Notes on desktop and our new mobile app, and iterating on Collections, our CRM for Innovation.I oversaw the integration of two new datasets: public company data (we had until then been solely focused on private companies), and business relationships.

  As CB Insights grew, I moved on to one of the first product management positions to have a bigger impact on the platform. The main product I worked on is Collections, our collaboration platform, which was conceived over months of brainstormings with the CEO and in-person meetings with our clients in Silicon Valley. Collections represented a major strategy shift for CB Insights, moving on from the "VC database" days to turn into a market intelligence platform which helps corporates figure out emerging tech.I organized "Hack Day," our 24-hour, company wide hackathon that brings salespeople, engineers, marketing and everyone else together.   As CB Insights' first front end hire I worked on everything, from our advanced searches to our startup and investor profiles. I also made our blog, marketing site, and data store which sold $5K+ reports to major corporations.I pioneered the use of d3.js to develop advanced, animated data visualizations like the Business Social Graph, the Industry Heatmap and the Investment Syndicate Dashboard (see screenshots).CB Insights’ cheapest plan went up over 500% during my time as a developer.
