  Involved electrical engineer graduate working on accumulator and power-train design. Concurrently fulfilling an advisory role in line with past experience in motor drive design and construction The goal of this project is to develop an electric formula race car for competition at SAE International Formula Electric 2018 in Lincoln, Nebraska. This will be the first time Concordia University is competing at such an event and thus this project tackles not only building an electric car fit for competition but also a team and foundation for to see this project through the following years.   The goal of this project is to develop, build and test a novel drive for a switched reluctance motor with triple stacked, offset rotor phases. My role in this project was that of co-leader, with involvement at every level of the project: development, research, simulation, prototyping, meeting with the project sponsor and other administrative functions.  Research on SR motors and drive topologies. - Familiarity with IEEE papers and comfort with technical documents - Working knowledge of similar drives.  Design and modeling power converters and rectifiers in Matlab and Simulink. - Extensive knowledge and experience with Matlab and Simulink modeling - Ability to run simulation, extract meaningful results and improve upon models  Design/construction of power electronic circuits - Good knowledge of passive and active electronic components - Sourced and ordered components, verified compatibility  Designed and populated PCBs - Working knowledge with KiCAD and exposure to Eagle PCB design tools - Good soldering experience and techniques - Testing and debugging PCBs  Maintaining good client relationship and working environment - Effective coordination and communication skills - Diplomatic in workspace conflicts  Wiring, configuring and coding PSOC 5LP micro controller - Exposure to PSOC coding including SAR and DelSig ADCs - Familiarity with programming aids such as GitHub Show less
