I have had the pleasure of working directly with Dr. Alexandra Steiner for many years now, both at Camber Corporation (merged with Huntington Ingalls) and American Systems. Alex has always stood out as someone that exceeded any professional expectations, whether it be in project or program management, business development, organizational planning, instructional system design or training development. The confidence and energy Alex brings to all her efforts transfers easily to any team she is working with. Her years of experience in this industry are truly invaluable and I would highly recommend reaching out to Alex for any teaming opportunities.

12 April 2023 To Whom it May Concern, I have known Dr. Alex Steiner for 15 years, and in that time have come to admire her scholarship, work, and desire/ability to lead in the business world. Alex and I began working together at Camber Corporation (now part of Huntington Ingalls) in 2008. We worked on a contract for the Veterans Affairs, specifically, Veterans’ Benefits, which tested claims processors’ knowledge in an effort to accurately provision Veterans who had been injured by their service. With billions of American taxpayer funds on the line, it was an important high stakes assessment program that benefitted those that had served our country. I learned a lot from Alex, and admired her scholarship, having attained a Ph.D. at an early age, and how she applied and shared her knowledge with team members, subject matter experts, and leaders in our field. Since then, Alex has gone on to serve other companies in leadership, sales, and business development. She has been a mentor to my daughter and other young people in the field, and is known as a leader in Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (ITSEC), the world’s largest modeling, simulation and training event, held in Orlando, FL. each year. Alex dedicatedly serves on committees and helps prepare for this large conference each year. On a personal level, Alex and I have been friends for all these years. I admire all about her, especially her love of travel, how she has raised two outstanding young boys, and her ability to talk to anyone. I know she would be a great addition to your team, in whatever role you place her in. I highly recommend, without reservation, Dr. Alex Steiner. Sincerely LaDonna LaDonna Slayter, Ph.D. Instructional Specialist Naval Air Warfare Center Training systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando, FL
