  This clinic takes care of patients with various mental disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, dementia, personality disorders, mood disorders). During my internship I had the opportunity to experience different aspects of a clinical psychologist’s work. I learned how to communicate with patients with different psychiatric diagnoses during group therapies and also during their leisure time. I was also participating in patient’s diagnostic process, during which critical thinking is necessary. In addition, I cooperated with staff members of psychiatric clinic in the analysis of patients’ mental health status, which required an ability to see others’ perspectives and openness to discuss different points of views.
