Alexandra was an executive member of the Public Relations Association and also served as Secretary of the Association. Alexandra quickly became an important member of this Association through her excellent written communication skills and her various experience in journalism. Alexandra went above and beyond the duties that were required of her and actively showed interest in the betterment of the Association. Alexandra also helped with the recruitment of members, she was able to bring members from different educational backgrounds and help them get involved with the Association. Alexandra is an extremely driven, inspired and hardworking student and this is shown continuously through the work that she does. I would recommend Alexandra to any company or employer.

During the 2020 winter term of my study of Public Relations at St. Clair College, I interned with the admin team at Tall Tale Theatre Co. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Tall Tale was unable to participate in live performances but instead created two podcasts for release: Night Terrors and The Fantasy Fantasia. I created a re-launch plan for Night Terrors in October and managed social media for The Fantasy Fantasia. In December, I helped manage and host a fundraiser put on by The Fantasy Fantasia to raise funds for The Downtown Mission of Windsor.

Stay Open was created by Alexandra Sellick and Kamryn Cusumano (photographer) as a way of promoting growth and business in the city of Windsor. What started as a zine and small arts events project has now turned into a full service personal branding and digital marketing boutique firm. Stay Open begins with personal branding photography that paints a picture of what our clients can do for you. We then share these stories over social media to market to and network with like-minded people. Our client list includes: Michael Difazio Reclaim Artistry, Slice of Design and Central Park Athletics.

Bike Windsor Essex is a not-for-profit cycling advocacy group. As Education coordinator, I helped structure and launch the Wrench-up! bike repair program. I marketed and promoted the program, coordinated class attendees and assisted with lessons. When the Wrench-up! classes ended, I became an event coordinator for Bike Valets and booths at festivals around the city of Windsor as well as organized the annual Bike To Work Day. At Biblioasis I assisted with social media, marketing and events. I created Tweets, Instagram and Facebook posts to tease and promote book launches and came up with creative marketing ideas for mailing out advance reader copies. I also helped to plan in-store book launch events. At Biblioasis I assisted with social media, marketing and events.
