      The German-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry fosters the economic ties between Germany and France. It is part of German Chamber Network of 140 Chambers in 92 countries. In France, it is the largest Franco-German network with 950 members. The Chamber promotes the expansion and maintenance of relationships with both the private and public sector in France. As the head of the Media Department, I perform the following functions: - Promote France as a target for new business opportunities of German companies, convey projects related to business development with over 100 B2B events per year. - Development and implementation of strategic measures for the promotion of Franco-German economic relations and the attractiveness of France to German companies. - Organization of political and economic dialogues of business leaders with institutional and political partners in cooperation with ministries, institutions and embassies in Germany and France. - Development of new services; conceptual development of innovative projects and budget planning. - Development and maintenance of the network of companies and institutions. - Definition of strategic themes and priorities for communication, press relations and events. - Management of event organization and partner search. - Lecturer on Franco-German relations in France and Germany; moderation of round tables with the participation of ministers and company managers. - Responsible for press relations, production of publications, surveys and studies, editing of the CONTACT business magazine. Full responsibility of the UN key day at EXPO 2000 with the visit of the UN Secretary General and the evening reception with over 500 guests from 180 countries. - Recruitment, training and supervision of pavilion staff; responsibility for administration and logistics.
