I had the privilege of working closely with Alex at Elevate for almost 2 years. Throughout this time, she consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, strategic thinking, and a genuine commitment to unlocking economic opportunities for equity-deserving entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals in the technology and innovation sector. Through Alex’s visionary leadership, Elevate designed and secured the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy grant to develop programming that would ensure women and gender-diverse professionals across Canada have access to the business supports they need to start or grow a business. I was always impressed by Alex’s ability to develop and nurture strategic partnerships in very holistic and sustainable ways. She has great instincts when it comes to identifying key allies and fostering relationships built on trust, shared values, and mutual benefit. Alex is incredibly skilled at securing financial support for impact-driven programs and creating collaborative opportunities that drive social innovation and help diverse founders excel and thrive.
