  I was an event intern for RCP Associations helping coordinate the RCP Tiburon Mile Open Water Swim. RCP Tiburon Mile is a fundraiser event for Hospice by the Bay, Hypertension Pulmonary Association, as well as the Special Olympics. Hundreds of USA and international Olympians and open water champion athletes compete along with the local community to raise awareness for these organizations. Due to my background service in catering, I helped obtain local restaurant donations. Also, this role taught me about coordinating and event planning. In the office I used Excel and Outlook to organize food vendors, put together informational packets, and to keep track of the progress. Show less
