During my internship at ACTA, Alex was one of the most incredible supervisors I could have asked for! From day one, she was invested in helping me grow personally, professionally and academically. Alex was diligent to check in on me and encourage me, whether I was encountering personal challenges or professional questions. When I was applying for jobs after graduation, Alex was quick to offer a review of my resume and offer letter. If I ever had any questions about my work (or any topic!), Alex was quick to help and provided resources to help me grow my knowledge. As an intern, I was required to learn many things quickly. Alex helped facilitate that learning through concise training and helpful feedback. Part of the reason I loved my internship at ACTA so much was because of Alex’s kind, strong leadership and the continual collegiality and friendliness she demonstrated towards me. She never treated me as an inferior, but as a peer. I will forever be thankful to have worked under Alex’s guidance and will highly recommend her for any future professional or academic pursuit!
