Law Examiner
-
Mar 2016 - Present
Marking and moderating A level law exam scripts since Summer 2016. Marking Unit LAW01 & LAW04 has entailed training with the Senior Examiner to ensure my interpretation & application of the mark scheme is done consistently. I have developed an insight into exam practice which will ultimately inform students who are approaching the exam and in turn I have broadened my own professional practice. I have met all relevant deadlines and completed marking scripts within the 3 week timeframe balancing the demands of my full time role with that as an examiner. I will further develop my experience by marking Paper 2 on the new linear specification in Summer 2020 series.
