Monitoring ventilation in the tunnel and providing localised increased ventilation to help disperse hazardous gases. Setting up sumps to reuse tunnel water on inverts for dust suppression. • Managing twin tunnel deconstruction and reconstruction works. This role requires good production planning, quality management (completed over 600 quality inspections), implementing strict health and safety procedures and checking temporary works formwork and temporary soffit support beams. I work closely with the Client, on site operatives, and third parties including London City Airport. • Planning and producing a weekly produced 4 week look ahead. • Presented Connaught Tunnel as an engineer for BBC documentary. • Overview of project wide real-time monitoring. • Won VCUK divisional health and safety award for works in tunnel. • Organising knowledge share events such as ICE student visits and colleagues from other Taylor Woodrow sites.
