      As the Director, I manage day to day operation of a 3,000 square foot gallery with over 10,000artworks in inventory, located at Bergamot Station Arts Center. I oversee on average 6-8 exhibitions per year with artworks of all media, ranging from solo exhibitions to group exhibitions involving upwards of thirty artists. I work closely with artists and installation staff in curating exhibitions and ensure the works are exhibited properly and in a compelling manner. I manage staff and outside contractors in all event co-ordination so that they are successful but also follow the given rules of our lease with the City of Santa Monica. With this experience, I have a thorough understanding of the intricacies and the persistent team work it takes to make a gallery presentable at all times.-Curate exhibition directly with artists to ensure their statement is properly conveyed-Manage all events: exhibitions, gallery rentals, local non-profit fundraisers, business meetings-Organize logistics of all event rental supplies, food trucks/caterers, musicians/performers-Drafting of all documentation: checklists, research, press releases and invoicing-Website design and updates-Design all advertisements (print and web media)-Organize all incoming and outgoing artwork loans to museums and sales shipments

      As the Director, I oversee all operations for two locations, one a 3,000 square foot exhibition space and a 1,000 square foot office and exhibition space. I organize, research and catalogue of over 400 artworks while negotiating with on average 100 consignors per sale.
