Video analysis: - Analyzing video data using EventMeasure to visually identify and quantify fish species in the California Delta. - Created "skeleton files" to prepare videos for analysis. - Extract data for analysis. - Updated video review training protocol and training colleagues. - Coordinate reviewers for different projects. - Analyzed video collected in Southern California for count and length data of threespine sticklebacks (Gasterosteus aculeatus) and calculated Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE). - Read ARIS SONAR images for fish counts and length measurements. Labatory work: - Analysis of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) scales: mounting, imaging, QC of images, and preparing images for aging and measurements. - Calibration of YSI Exo Sondes for use on the Sampling Platform. Additional experience: - Collected invertebrate drift samples at the Hallwood site on the Yuba River near Marysville, CA. - Maintain databases in order to produce accurate, timely and quality work products and be accountable for meeting objectives. - Manage laboratory supplies and needs, order supplies, organize physical datasheets, interpret and follow established lab protocols, guidelines, and procedures. - Manage equipment and conduct repairs as necessary, specifically Hach flowmeters and TempStick temperature and humidity monitors for sample freezers.
