  Grew and characterized a luciferase expressing vaccine derived strain of Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis Virus. Analyzed the transgene stability through luciferase assays and created a growth curve using plaque assays in order to compare viral replication to the wild type virus. Isolated and infected murine bone marrow cells with TC83 to determine its effect on macrophage polarization in both vaccinated and non-vaccinated mice. Samples were analyzed using flow cytometry.
