  Obtained a PhD in Systems Biology in Professor Jens Nielsens group. My project was based within the field of metabolic engineering in order to investigate parameters which could influence the production of fatty acids in yeast. The position gave me solid experience within molecular biology, genetic engineering practice, small scale fermentation, analytic chemistry, design of experiments, data analysis, presentation technique, teaching and scientific writing.
