I had the opportunity to work with Alex over the last three years, most recently as his People & Culture Business Partner. Alex and I were tasked to work on challenging workforce and engagement activities. Through these, Alex proved to be patient, caring, and strategic in his decisions that impacted his team directly. Alex went above and beyond to communicate effectively, be transparent with his team, and led with integrity. I am so happy that had a chance to work alongside him through his time at Mindbody. Any company would be lucky to have him at the helm of their Data team.

It's hard to come across a manager who you want to work for a second time, but that was an easy decision to make with a leader and mentor like Alex. I have the opportunity to work for Alex in two different roles at two different companies. In my role as a data scientist, Alex pushed me to think outside of the box, learn how to anticipate the needs of stakeholders, and challenged me and the team to continually improve our work and processes. I also worked for Alex as a manager of a data science team. Alex taught me how to not only handle the the day to day work and manage business relationships, but brought out my abilities to develop, grow, and connect with team members. He provides autonomy to get the work done, but guidance and support when you need it. I wouldn't be where I am at today without Alex's support and belief that I would be successful. Any team would benefit from Alex's leadership and genuine care for the people who work for him.
