  Following rigorous interviewing I was chosen by Omlet for a highly sort after placement in their Research and Development team in Oxfordshire This was on the back of a 3D board game which I both designed and 3D printed with my personal printer. I was involved in all stages of several large projects and had sole responsibility for the concept, design and manufacturing for a domestic animal feeder ( https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/chicken_keeping/chicken_treat_holder_caddi/ ). At the end of placement performance review, it was highlighted that they were impressed by the number of projects I had a positive impact upon and that they had appreciated my cheerful enthusiasm and easy integration into project teams.   Whilst at this company I am tasked with the delivery and pick up of vintage furniture which involved long-distance travel. I was in charge of planning and organising of these trips. Deliveries and pickups involved customer interaction and dealing with any face to face issues that may arise. This could be challenging but as the representative of the company I had to be professional in sometimes difficult circumstances. The company delivers high-class vintage furniture; from leather couches and tables to bars and props. During my time there I was tasked to organise outgoing deliveries, delivering (with the possible setting up) and deconstruction of setting. I was tasked to work with a single driver to pack and deliver tons worth furniture and props, all over the country. My duties started with basic yard work and manual labour but through various jobs I developed extended skills, such as roofing with slate and tile, mixing and applying lime-based mortar and lead skills. I have worked on scaffolding, in chimneys, on roofs and have always prepared myself with the proper equipment so that I keep myself safe and get the job done effectively. Show less
