  I terreni alluvionali del fiume Talvera, un antico sito, una varietà legata al territorio, il Lagreini: così nasce Mauracher Sand. Abbiamo piantato la vigna nel 2003, aspettato fino a che si instaurasse un buon equilibrio, lavorato rispettando i ritmi della natura. È del 2011 la prima vinificazione fatta con lieviti indigeni, con una parte di uve intere e pochi interventi in cantina. Dopo dodici mesi di affinamento in una grande botte di rovere abbiamo imbottigliato 3.500 bottiglie 0,750 l. Auf den Schwemmböden der Talfer, einem historischen Ort, aus Lagrein, einer lokalen Rebsorte, die im Bozner Talkessel ihren Ursprung hat: So entstand der Mauracher Sand. Wir haben den Weinberg 2003 gepflanzt, sind den Zyklen der Natur gefolgt und haben mit viel Geduld gewartet. 2011 der erste Jahrgang: spontane Vergärung, ein Teil ganzer Trauben und wenige önologische Eingriffe. Ein vollkommen natürlich ausgebauter Wein. Nachdem der Wein für 12 Monate in einem großen Eichenfass gereift ist, haben wir 3.500 Flaschen 0,75l abgefüllt.
