Alex is one of the best full stack developers I have ever worked with. He can turn a vague specification into a well designed product. On the front end not only is he an expert on Angular, he can also design intuitive and beautiful user interfaces. As a back-end developer Alex is a very strong developer in Java and C#. He creates readable and maintainable code. Alex can deliver working products in very short time frames, but will always document improvements that can be made when time is available. He can pick up new technologies quickly and is always eager to learn new skills. He is also a great problem solver and has suggested and made important improvements to Data Pad systems. In summary Alex is someone who cares deeply about producing high quality solutions to business needs.

Development of a consumer panel, allowing users to sign up, receive surveys by email (and later, by push notifications) and complete these surveys in their web browser to earn points. I designed and constructed the Survey Designer app, the OpinionHive survey app itself, and the members' section of our website that allowed users to manage their account. I also played a significant role in the design and construction of our corporate site, the site where panelists signed up, and our other back-end systems. Development of a software program for use in personal finance, involving processing & analysis of large financial databases, requiring modifications on-demand over its lifetime. Built using Visual Studio 2010, written in C# .NET using the Windows Forms technology. Strategy: Built from scratch according to a loose specification, but also suggesting potential improvements to make it more powerful, or easier to use, and then implementing those changes.
