  New role created within Power Services saw me responsible for the management, planning and execution of 2 large maintenance outages and EPC upgrade of plant at Sutton Bridge Power Plant. Challenge to reduce cycle time due to high liquidated damages attached to contract. Role involved looking after outages on 2 large frame 9FA+e gas turbines, 2 x 324 generator and D11 steam turbine in a 729MW combined cycle plant. Planned cycle time was been reduced by 8 days in the planning stage through careful integration and optimization of the work schedules. Multiple vendors and up to 120 personnel were utilised and managed throughout the execution of the outage, including cross functional teams from engineering, quality, EHS, repairs and parts/procurement. Planned outages were executed within $12m budget with 6 months of emergent work and extensive re-engineering and repairs incorporated into programme including co-ordination of ground-breaking engineering and weld repair on steam turbine shell.
