was commissioned to work with the Lowry Theatre in Salford. I Designed a program and lanyard for the Week 53 Festival which has taken place over two weeks during May. I used a number of my design skills from editorial layout to working with typography to produce the outcomes. I put my own take on the design using my own style whilst also working closely with the brand guidelines, allowing me to create outcomes that would suit the needs of the company and portray the message they wanted for their customers. I had to produce the outcomes to the finest details meeting a deadline for the program and lanyards to be printed ready for the festival. After working on the Week 53 festival with the Lowry I was offered the chance to work internally with the design team for 5 weeks. I had a really fun time developing my skills working on a number of various projects, from designing certain online banners and posters for a number of shows that were performing at The Lowry. I also had the chance to design their yearly Annual Review booklet and there yearly Golf Day brochure which helped me develop my InDesign and editorial skills. It was once again a learning curve, enabling me to adjust to the professional working environment, having to meet deadlines whilst creating work to the highest quality. Show less

I had the opportunity to intern TBWA over the summer of 2015. It gave me the opportunity to work in a professional design environment allowing me to develop my skills and progress as a designer. I worked on designing the layout for a prospectus for Staffordshire University. This gave me the chance to excel on my layout and InDesign skills pushing my abilities to the highest standard. I had to work under pressure completing the prospectus within a deadline by also allowing me the freedom to show off my ability by adding my own creative flair to the outcome. Show less
