      In my time at LA Post I've worked as an Offloader, Data Wrangler, and as the Visual QC for major projects for BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and Channel 4. I have also written the post-production scripts for the Drama series Granite Harbour (2022) and Compulsion (2021). Since the beginning of 2022, I've worked in LA Post, the award-winning Post Production Branch of BAFTA-winning LA Productions, I've loved this new role in post-production, and since joining the team, I've been lucky enough to work on greater and greater jobs, enhancing my experience and learning from a fantastic and supportive team around me. In this role, it's been vastly important for me to be a quick learner, which I believe to be one of my best skills, at LA Post, I've learned how to use Davinci Resolve for Transcoding and Visual QC-ing of footage. I've also developed a strong basic understanding of AVID Media Composer, setting up projects, importing and transcoding media, as well as implementing a file structure for the lead Editor on a project.       For the 6-part, limited series 'Maternal' for ITV1 and ITVX, I worked as a Data Wrangler and VQC for LA Post. Here I developed a comprehensive knowledge of Hedge and an ability to use silverstack for my offloading process. I also Transcoded all footage, as well as applied LUT's and delivering footage to the Assistant Editor with Davinci Resolve. This was a long shoot and required long, challenging workdays, however, I really enjoyed this challenge and pride myself on being available to help whenever needed while in production. I was happy to learn new processes and think on my feet in order to problem-solve in the event of technological issues. I loved working with both the team at LA Post and the helpful and hardworking team on-set and on the edit elsewhere and was pleased to see the positive reception to the show in national newspapers and magazines!       I worked as a Production Assistant on this High-end Limited Drama series which is now available on Disney+, ServusTV and RaiPlay. This was a high-intensity position which I found a welcome challenge. I loved the think-on-your-feet aspect of the role and feel I was a key member of the production team, ensuring the smooth running of this large scale shoot. During this shoot I also was stepped up to 3rd AD for the day, to assist the team on a particularly busy day. I relished this opportunity and felt really excited to be able to not only expand my own experience but also assist the team.       In my first role with LA Productions, I acted as Production Secretary/Assistant. Here I organised all of the cast and crew's travel to and from location, such as trains and drivers. I also worked booking hotels and accommodation for each member within the shoot that required it. I loved this organisational challenge and felt that this tested my communication skills to always ensure not only the individuals, but also my Production Manager and Line Producer, knew what was going on at any given moment. Through long, challenging days in the summer, I feel the team and I had a real camaraderie that has turned into long-lasting friendships! Show less
