My partner and I developed a custom test rig to test the impact of fixed wing UAVs. The machine featured the option to orient the drone about 3 axis as well as to adjust the trajectory angle. The test rig could simulate impacts at speeds of up to 15 m/s and had the option to change the material of the impact surface.
