Worked full time in brewing section. Responsibilities included general cleaning and maintenance of the facility. Seimaijo: loading unpolished rice, bagging and weighing polished rice. Kamaba: shoveling loading, weighing and cooling rice by hand, operating and washing horeiki. Funeba: removing kasu from press, weighing and bagging kasu to be sold. Koji: tanefuri, dekoji, hikikomi, tokomomi, kirikaeshi, mori, nakashigoto, shimaishigoto. Kougai: loading and unloading kasu used to make shochu, weighing, bagging and delivering used kasu to farmers. Attended brewing course at Nanbu Toji Association. Show less

Assistant Language Teacher

Worked full-time as Alternate Language Teacher in four high schools in Sendai area. Worked full-time as ALT in four junior high schools and nine elementary schools in Yonezawa area. Designed and executed lesson plans and activities, collaborated with Japanese teachers in designing lesson plans, encouraged students’ spoken English and cultural interest, attended biannual summary meetings with Yonezawa Board of Education. Established and organized English language clubs in junior high schools. Trained students for local speech contest and acted as judge for the speech contest. Led hiking trips for Yonezawa International Relations Association (2015) and local high school (2016). Worked full-time as ALT in two elementary schools in Oyama area. Attended bi-weekly meetings with Oyama Board of Education, responsible for writing meeting minutes for the company, wrote weekly school report for the Board of Education, responsible for changing the English curriculum at one school.
