Design, architecture, full-stack development, (dev)ops work and management for various customers across the spectrum of IT. Everything from regulatory compliance of legacy applications, or refactoring and modernizations of monoliths, to developing brand new applications on the cutting-edge of software design for startups and established companies looking to move towards a microservice architecture. As a senior software engineer, I assist our architects in designing and implementing new programs and features for applications of the IVU Suite. I am the lead developer of several modules in the personnel planning team.I chose to take on additional responsibilities as the Development Environment Engineer (roughly translated from Entwicklungsumgebungsverantwörtlicher) in 2014. This internal position was created to help developers to spend as much of their time possible writing code, as opposed to worrying about configuration, fixing broken dependencies, or other more technical details. To that end, I've written an internal Eclipse plugin to help manage our growing codebase and to automate formerly time-consuming manual tasks, particularly when creating or updating a workspace.
