I provided consultation services to various DeFi projects with regards to how they should shape their development practices and bring their innovative visions to reality. Key responsibilities in this role were managing personalized client relations and ensuring a consistent throughput to the various concurrent projects that I engaged in. Notable responsibilities included rigorously optimizing complex code and ensuring that code performs up to its specification. In this period I also began contributing to the Ethereum ecosystem by devising my own EIPs, contributing to other EIP discussions, performing independent analysis of security incidents, and developing a personalized toolkit for working with blockchain projects. My intentions are to publish these tools of my toolkit under an open-source license as soon as they become production-ready. I have also contributed to open-source Solidity libraries in the optimization area via pull-requests showcasing the capability to optimize well-known implementations a step further via in-depth knowledge of how the EVM operates. At Ourovoros, our aim was to provide a novel combination of security, code optimality, and best-of-class software development to our clientele. During my period, I directly managed the overall development of two separate projects; a novel decentralized insurance protocol as well as infrastructure expansion of an existing DeFi project that desired to integrate a new DEX implementation based on the Thorchain notions. The most challenging aspect of these engagements was ensuring that the security guarantees of the systems remain unbroken under a variety of circumstances including flash-loans, transaction ordering attacks (i.e. sandwhich arbitrage), and code-related vulnerabilities such as mathematical truncations. I conceived and carried out the software development of a blockchain idea revolving around cryptocurrency wallets. Specifically, I wrote a white-paper that detailed the operation of a multi-signature wallet over a distributed network of peers with an adaptation of Shamir's Secret Sharing Algorithm that allows the usage of pre-determined shares to compute new ones. Created Proof-of-Concept smart contracts in Solidity that would be able to support the aforementioned scheme and relay information to a backend service and subsequently a dashboard via the use of blockchain events logged by blockchain probes as digital notaries. Conceptualized the SeRP (Segmented encrypted Retrieval Protocol) for the multi-signature wallets which acts as a doomsday-scenario failsafe where the private key could be re-assembled even in the case of operational failure of the Arctus X wallet service. Coded a web interface via which one is able to generate fully deployable Solidity smart contract code for an ERC-223 & ERC-20 compliant token parameters such as decimals, total supply and abbreviation are fully configurable. While the company has since disbanded, certain pieces of software have been re-iterated & resold. Negotiations for a total buy-off of the software are also underway. Show less

Brainstormed & formulated a blockchain idea revolutionizing the cryptocurrency wallet industry. Wrote a white-paper in LaTeX detailing the application of a AI powered node blockchain network acting as a side-chain wallet provider for all current cryptocurrencies supporting seed-derived BIP44 wallet creation. Created Proof-of-Concept smart contracts that will facilitate the operation of the Multisignature Wallet network & relay the key holders' decisions to the various mainnets via the use of Events logged by blockchain probes. Concept & development of SeRP (Segmented encrypted Retrieval Protocol), which makes Multisignio's multisignature wallets powered by an actual ECA (Externally Controlled Account), meaning the funds will constantly be retrievable by the private key on each blockchain's perspective network. Contributed to the development of the Multisignio website via the use of a Javascript framework. Show less

Reformulated the idea presented at the crowdhackathon into a payment tokenizing system taking advantage of the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) used by several blockchains. Purposed a new payment gateway system via the use of a plugin that tokenizes payment requests off-line with ECDSA via a generated private key from the user's credit card along with a 4-digit pin code, rendering all forms of phising attacks completely useless & bringing blockchain-grade encryption security to the traditional banking system. The plugin, along with allowing users to tokenize their payment requests, enables merchants to allow one-click purchases with the use of the plugin's API & with data optionally retrieved from a blockchain database. Bootstrapped a Proof-of-Work website in HTML, CSS & Javascript that showcases the private key, public key & public address generation from a supplied credit card number & utilizes the underlying library's API to enable a one-click purchase. Created a combination of the ERC-20 & ERC-223 standards for the company's smart contract powered casino. Found an ERC-223 attack vector and reported it to the creator of the standard. Discussed with various blockchain developers on public channels regarding gas-stipends & gas-efficient code and helped other developers with Solidity snippets. Experimented with hybrid blockchain & off-chain solutions for a dividend function & created the first fully on-blockchain dividence function. Integrated blockchain interaction on the back-end (Node.JS, MongoDB & Express JS) & on the front-end (Angular.JS) with the use of various Ethereum libraries such as web3, EthereumJS Utils & more. Created a secure one-click sign in feature by taking advantage of public address retrieval from a Keccak-256 signed message. Show less

Presented & created wtihin 48-hours a private blockchain to facilitate & automate inter-bank transactions by keeping them on a public ledger powered by the banks participating in the network. The blockchain used utilized a Proof-of-Authority protocol akin to that of J. P. Morgan's Quorum blockchain. Coded smart contracts in Solidity that track the interbank transactions and emit events to blockchain probes as to what transactions have taken place. Guided team members as to the tasks that were required of them as well as provided the necessary resources for them to study. Handled web3 integration to the front-end developed by another team member. Successfully passed to the next phase of the competition, the be-finnovative business accelerator & won a sponsored Business-Erasmus scholarship. Show less

Kickstarted a personal project utilizing Ethereum's scripting language to work as the back-bone for a simplistic online vide-game. Coded a complex smart-contract handling the 3 main mechanisms of the game, a Random Attack, a Targeted Attack & a Revenge Attack. Experimented with TRNG on blockchain via the use of a TLS Notary & with fair RNG based on game-theory regarding miner manipulation of blockchain data on run-time. Created a WP website for the game & a fully functional DApp interface able to run even locally via the MetaMask plugin with support for all types of wallets partially implemented. The DApp interface was coded in pure HTML, CSS & Javascript without the use of any kind of framework. Studied in depth how to completely secure a contract against various attack vectors, created a variation of the ERC-20 standard resistant to the transferFrom() double-spend attack & created a custom comprehensible comment format for Solidity.
