I've worked with Alex on a number of concepts and always found him to be adept at grasping new ideas / requirements and quickly integrating them into existing structure or building new arrangements around them - and then turning them into prose. He has a range of writing styles to suit all situations and a keen sense for an appropriate turn of phrase. His wide and varied life experience equips him for an equally broad range of writing tasks and he demonstrates considerable drive to achieve both quality and time targets.

Alex helped us out tremendously by creating exciting and interesting news stories, from relatively little content (sometimes, a few mere bullet points!). Alex was reliable, very easy to work with and always responded quickly. Talented beyond what we were asking!

I have been painting and selling original art for some years now, and am pleased to say my bright colours and bold images are on walls from Bangkok to Palma, from Los Angeles to London. I have had them described as "romantic", and "outrageous", "˜eye-catching" and "utter shit". I accept all such comments with great enjoyment, but have unerringly failed to compile a satisfying description myself. All I can say for sure, it's not wallpaper. People notice it. They don't always like it, but hell, I don't paint for applause. Onward, ever onward! Show less

This was a double cyanide reclamation project in deep bush, where some nights I would sit on the dumps made by miners a hundred years before, and watch the tracer bullets of Renamo and ZNA lighting up the sky to the east.
