Alex applied for an internship at Faz 2 years ago on his own initiative. Although Faz do not normally take on Interns, we admired his initiative as well as his skills. It turned out to be one of the best decision we made. We quickly hired Alex before the internship finished as we were afraid of losing someone of his caliber. Alex is a self starter, deeply technically knowledgeable as well as deeply interested in what he is doing, a very strong combination. As a graduate he demonstrated skills which sometimes topped more experienced people and is a key part of the team today. He is a good and keen communicator and has many excellent and thought provoking ideas. I have no problem recommending him and cannot recommend him high enough.
