  As an Inside Journeyman Wireman I am responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems. I work with blueprints to figure out how the systems are supposed to work- I then use that information to troubleshoot electrical problems and come up with solutions. I have a deep familiarity with various types of electrical systems, fixtures, and components. I have formal training to competently, and efficiently, repair electrical systems with a variety of tools and techniques. My work also requires me to follow OSHA safety requirements in the responsible use of ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and other various equipment in order to complete the task at hand. I am a firm believer in safety and proficiency being the integral factors in electrical system installations. I take every precaution to reaffirm these principles in my craft. Show less
