Our duties at the Site Inspection Office is to follow the construction progress at the yards and to safeguard the quality and contract of the vessels built. Reporting to the Director of Finance in Miami headquarters and the Directors of the Offices, my main duties are to control and maintain the daily finance and accounting for the offices, and to act as the human resource representative. Duties include the creation of budgets and plans, control of payroll, taxes, funding, and legal compliance. Supporting employees in tax, legal, or other questions, and negotiating and implementing employee changes. Start-up crew management prior to ship delivery. There are two direct reports to me for accounting in each office.
